Self taught artist still in high school. Since I was a little kid I’d always draw my own comics. I feel inspired and fascinated by how comics can be literature but also a form of visual art, all packed into one medium. I love Todd McFarlane for his comics and toys and art tutorials and my favorite comic book is The Walking Dead. My knowledge of storytelling techniques and visual aesthetic is my strongest point and I’m flexible with experimenting with panel structures, coloring, negative space, shading, composition, anatomy, and more. My dream goal is to get a good position in mainstream comics and do something with my skillset that has a positive impact on the industry or the culture in general. I’m seeking opportunities to begin publishing work. If anybody’s looking for a pinup for superhero artwork or art for their original characters, and creator owned comics, or simply commissions, I’m available.
To any other creative teens or just creators in general out there who also want to break in, NEVER stop drawing. It’s that you never stop which will get you there and after all that work there will be people who’ll definitely want you to draw for them. I haven’t got there myself but I’ve come a long way since I first started and that’s because I didn’t stop drawing.
