About Me
Hello! I’m Gemma who resides in Perth, Western Australia. I’m a creative Indie and freelancer who wants to tell a story with the potential of the internet.
I envisioned my Graphic Novel Dragon Legacy into being around the year of 2005, I first imagined it to be a traditional medieval fantasy story about a ‘boy and dragon’ in a European, English environment very stereotypical of such tales.

At first it was going to be a novel, It wasn’t till around the year 2010 I decided to switch the framework to a Graphic Novel, as well as the environment and historical context to my home country of Australia, since we are known worldwide for our dangerous animals and wide variety of reptile life. Dragon Legacy is inspired and loosely set in 1890-1920 time period of Australia for historical context.
