“THE GREAT GAME,” Part Three “War isn’t a game” seems obvious. Let one of DIE’s most aggressive masters explain:
i) why that isn’t true
ii) that war being a game only makes it worse.
Can our heroes save the world? Can they save anything?
We were going to give away a free pen on the cover of this issue, as it’s the penultimate issue, but we costed it, and then our accountant attacked us, and then we decided to just do the comic instead. Hope that’s okay with you. I’m sorry. We’re disappointed too, but also bleeding from the accountant onslaught.
Revenge is the greatest motivator and Gran and Duncan have awakened the ire of the mother of all monsters…
How could we follow the startling first issue of LUDOCRATS? With issue two. Sometimes it doesn’t pay to overthink these things. Herein, stuff of a ludicrous and oft entertaining character happens.

Half the party is ruling a whole empire. The other half is on the run. Neither has it easy. There is nothing easy in this game, especially when the stakes get shockingly real. The most epic arc of DIE begins as it means to go on: messily.
“THE GREAT GAME,” Part Two-Designer Sid Meier described games as a series of interesting decisions. “May you live in interesting times” is a curse. Both things are true, and both are true here.
LUDOCRATS, the comic that makes its whole creative team shout, “Oh God. What have we done? Why didn’t anyone stop us?” on a monthly basis.
With Merlin-and the magic he wields-back at his side, King Arthur is stronger than ever. Brigette and Duncan continue to fight against Camelot’s dark forces, but when Merlin calls to life another story entirely, will the two heroes save the day? Or will they find themselves becoming the villains they’re sworn to defeat.
When a strange newcomer arrives at the dark court of Camelot, his presence disrupts The Otherworld. Sometimes winning the battle risks losing the war…as Duncan and Bridgette will soon find out.
